Nice one, Simon! And actually I wouldn't describe it as not having a specific tune, there is a tune there, though admittedly not that hummable. But I'm a girl and it's a bass, so the odds are against anyway really....

Really must apologize for the hiss on this one folks. Every time I listen back to the track it annoys me more. I wasn't being lazy with the setting up, just hadn't got my head around the line level scenario. I was still pleased with the way the track came out musically that I overlooked the appalling sound quality. I've sorted it now, so all future posts will be much cleaner-sounding. Promise!

Nice, gentle track. I've never got into tapping on guitar, but admire those who can use it well.

Hello folks.
I've adjusted the level and re-uploaded this track as the original version turned out to be almost inaudible! Those of you who downloaded the previous incarnation may want to delete the old file and download the sparkly new version. You'll certainly have more chance of hearing it! The new version went live at 15:45 on Monday 18th August if you're not sure which version you have.
Sorry about that!

This is really interesting, keep it up.

Oh, look forward to seeing you in Paris with The Divine Comedy, by the way.

I think I'll twiddle my bass now.

Guitar that is. Not anything weird.

Thanks Steve. It's already opened up so many doors performance-wise. Can't wait to get further into it!

I really enjoyed this one. I like the minimalism of the backing figure. And there's a lot of nice lead work.
